Serving the communities of Delano, Loretto, Montrose, MN, and the surrounding area

Brian Wolf Column – 6/30/14

Sometimes doing the right thing is actually the right thing for everyone.

Take the Wolf Wealth Golf Charity event as an example. Not only is it good for the Buffalo Hospital Foundation and the community that it serves, but it’s also good for you.

I think I read a very serious medical report once that said golfing in a charity golf event will add 10 years to your life expectancy, or maybe it was just eat more carrots, I can’t remember; but why take any chances.

Buffalo Hospital is a non-profit regional medical center committed to providing quality, comprehensive care to patients in and around Wright County, providing exceptional patient-centered care to more than 70,000 patients every year.

They provide a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care services, and many specialty services, so you don’t have to travel far from home.

Today, the hospital is stronger than ever, due to many individuals, organizations, companies, and foundations. These essential partnerships support compassionate and innovative care.

Funds raised at the golf event will help Buffalo Hospital continue to enhance cancer care close to home.

“It’s comforting to know that a state of the art cancer care is right here in my community. These services, along with the help from a cancer care coordinator, provide the extra help I need on my journey with cancer,” said a grateful patient.

Please contact our office if you can help support this worthy charity.

It also makes good sense to support your local hospital if you’re going to extend your life expectancy an additional 10 years.
