I feel incredibly grateful to have had strong women in my life, including my grandmothers, mother, mother-in-law, and wife. They have all been there to support me and love me through some of the toughest times in my life.
As a man, I believe having both male and female role models is important to become well-rounded individuals.
Mothers Day is a special occasion that allows us to honor and celebrate those special female figures in our lives who have made a significant impact. For me, it's an opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for all the different things these amazing people have done for me throughout my lifetime.
It is honestly hard to express everything these remarkable women mean to me in words. My grandmothers were different but had the same love for their families. When we spent time alone with them as kids, it was always fun to hear about what our parents were like when they were younger or what they were like when they were younger.
My mother-in-law has been amazing to me since the day I met her. I know that it hasn't been easy for her to have her oldest daughter move to Minnesota, far away from her. I also know that it can't be easy for her to have seen her grandchildren grow up from afar. Yet, she has always made me feel part of the family. Whenever we make the trip to Wisconsin to see them, she always makes it special for all of us, and for that, I will always be grateful.
My mom is remarkable, and there honestly aren't enough words to be able to describe to you what she has meant to me. Let's just say she has always been there whenever I needed her. And in my life, I have needed her a lot. She can always make me feel better when I need it.
My wife, the mother of my children, is the person that understands me the most. She is my champion and partner in crime. She knows when to push me and call me out on something, but never too harshly. She is the person I want to grow old with.
So to all the extraordinary women in my life, I love you, and I thank you for being there for me when things are good and helping me out when life has gotten rough. I am sure there will be more good and rough times ahead, but I know I am in good hands because I have you all in my life.
