MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION SCHOOL DISTRICT #424, LESTER PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA Tuesday, November 8, 2005 A special meeting of the Board of Education of District #424, Lester Prairie, McLeod County, Minnesota was held on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 in the school media center to canvass the general election and special school board election results. Board members present were Chairman Fred Blaser, Vice-Chairman Chester Hoernemann, Treasurer Robert Carlson, Clerk Jeff Hecksel, Director Melissa Williams and Director Nancy Krull. Administration present included Superintendent Joe Miller. Chairman Fred Blaser called the meeting to order at 9:30 p.m. Chester Hoernemann moved to adopt a Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes of School District General Election and Special School Board Election as listed below. General Election of three school board members for four-year terms: Fred Blaser 56 Chester W. Hoernemann 61 Jim Jorgenson 15 Special Election of one school board member to fill unexpired two-year term: Robert “Bob” Carlson 67 Motion was seconded by Melissa Williams. A roll call vote was needed and resulted in the following: Jeff Hecksel - yes, Nancy KruIl- yes, Fred Blaser - yes, Chester Hoernemann - yes, Bob Carlson - yes and Melissa Williams - yes. Motion carried 6-0. Nancy Krull made a motion, seconded by Melissa Williams to adopt a Resolution Authorizing Issuance of Certificates of Election and Directing School District Clerk to Perform Other Election Related Duties. A roll call vote was needed and resulted in the following: Jeff Hecksel- yes, Nancy KruIl- yes, Bob Carlson - yes, Fred Blaser - yes, Chester Hoernemann - yes and Melissa Williams - yes.
