MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION SCHOOL DISTRICT #424, LESTER PRAIRIE, MINNESOTA Tuesday, April 25, 2006 A special meeting of the Board of Education of District #424, Lester Prairie, McLeod County, Minnesota was held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006, to canvass the returns of the special election on the school district general operating referendum. Board members present were Chairman Fred Blaser, Vice-Chairman Chester Hoernemann, Clerk Jeff Hecksel, and Director Jim Jorgenson. Administration present included Superintendent Joe Miller. Bob Carlson and Melissa Williams were absent. Chairman Fred Blaser called the meeting to order at 9:30 p.m. Jim Jorgenson moved to adopt a Resolution Canvassing Returns of Votes of the School District Special Election as listed below. Results of school district general operating referendum: Yes 306 No 293 Motion was seconded by Jeff Hecksel. A roll call vote was needed and resulted in the following: Jeff Hecksel – yes, Fred Blaser – yes, Chester Hoernemann – yes, and Jim Jorgenson – yes. There were no “no” votes. Bob Carlson and Melissa Williams were absent. Motion carried 4-0. Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
