Notice of Public Accuracy Test
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public accuracy test to demonstrate the accuracy of the computer programs and voting systems to be used at the General Election on November 4th, 2014, will be conducted at the Loretto City Hall Council Chambers, 279 N. Medina St. at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 30th, 2014. This public accuracy test is open to the general public.

LEGAL NOTICE
CITY OF INDEPENDENCE
The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at 1920 County Road 90 on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. to review the following requests:
1. Donna Hendley (Applicant/Owner) requests that the City consider the following actions for the property located at 5850 County Road 11, Independence, MN (PID No. 02-118-24-43-0001):
1. A minor bdivision to permit a rural view lot subdivision to create a new 5 acre parcel. The newly created 5 acre parcel would allow the second existing residence on the property to be located on its own parcel.
2. Mike Kuka (Applicant/Owner) requests that the City consider the following actions for the properties located at 4405 County Road 92 N, Independence, MN (PID No.s 04-118-24-24-0002 and 04-118-24-31-0001):
a. A conditional use permit to allow a commercial riding stable on the subject property. The stable will host rodeo, horse related and similar events within the existing agriculture accessory structure on the property.
The items highlighted above may have a direct or indirect effect on your property. All persons wishing to be heard with reference to these applications will be given the opportunity at this meeting. Written comments can be directed to City Hall, 1920 County Road 90, Independence, MN 55359. Plans are available for review at the City Office.

ORDINANCE NO. 2O14-03
CITY OF LORETTO, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LORETTO, MINNESOTA ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS; AMENDING SECTION 300:00 OF THE LORETTO CITY CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LORETTO DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION I. Chapter III PERSONAL AND FINANCE is hereby amended by adding the underlined language and deleting the language in strikeout as follows:
CHAPTER III
PERSONAL PERSONNEL AND FINANCE
Section 300:00: MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBER SALARIES COMPENSATION.
Subdivision 1. Beginning January I, 1999 2015, the salary compensation of the mayor of the City of Loretto shall be $100 $170 for each attended regular, special or emergency meeting of the City Council. The total salary of the mayor in any calendar year shall not be less than $1,200 $ and shall not exceed $2,400 $ .
Subd.2. Beginning January 1, 1999, 2015, the salary compensation of a council member of the City of Loretto shall be $85 $150 for each attended regular, special or emergency meeting of the City Council. The total salary of a council member in any calendar year shall not be less than $1,000 $ and shall not exceed $2,000 $ .
Subd. 3. In addition to their salaries compensation for attending council meetings, the City Council may authorize reimbursement, or the payment of per diem in the amount of $40 to the mayor and council members may receive a salary of $20 per diem for attendance at training seminars, conferences and meetings that the mayor or council members attend as a designated representative of the city. , provided that the payment of salary must be approved by council.
Subd. 4. The total compensation of the mayor and council member in any calendar year shall not be less than $1800 and shall not exceed $3600 for each person.
SECTION II. This ordinance shall be effective January 2, 2015.
Adopted by the Loretto City Council this 14th day of October, 2014.
