Mayor Graunke called the special workshop of the Delano City Council/Economic Development Authority meeting of Tuesday, May 26, 2015 to order at 7:00 p.m.

3. Special Order of Business
A. Review 2014 Audit and Financial Statements
Chris Knopick from CliftonLarsonAllen was present to address the council on the budget audit of 2014.
B. Discuss 2014 fund balance.
Motion by Jack Russek to pay the balance of the central park fund and allocate the remaining excess dollars to Capital improvement fund. Seconded by Holly Schrupp. Motion carried.
C. Discuss Street Improvement Plan and proposed 2016 Street Improvement project.
Vince Vander Top discussed the 2016 street improvement plan and reviewed the proposed streets.
D. Discuss flood levy near former Granite Works property.
Council discussed a proposed flood levy near the former Granit Works property discussing past floods and the effect on this property.
E. Discuss June/July meeting

Council discussed the upcoming meeting schedule.
4. Adjournment
There being no further business to discuss, the special workshop of the Delano City Council/Economic Development Authority meeting of Tuesday, May 26, 2015 was adjourned at 9:25 p.m.

CITY OF DELANOWRIGHT COUNTY, MINNESOTAORDINANCE NO.: O-15-02
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE DELANO ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF DELANO, MINNESOTA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF DELANO ORDAINS:
Section 1. The Official Zoning Map of the City of Delano is hereby amended by changing the zoning designation for land legally described as follows from B-2, General Business District to B-3, Highway Business District:
Legal Description: Lot 5, Block 1, Plattner’s Addition, Delano Minnesota.
Section 2. The City Administrator is hereby directed to make the appropriate changes to the Official Zoning Map of the City of Delano to reflect the change in zoning set forth above.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon passage and publication.
ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL THIS 16th DAY OF JUNE 2015.
