The total amount of the taxes proposed to be abated by the City on the property for up to a 15-year period is estimated to be not more than $1,055,000. The City Council will consider the property tax abatement to finance flood mitigation improvements within the City (the “Project”).
The City proposes to issue General Obligation Bonds, which will be issued to finance the Project, in an amount not to exceed $1,055,000.
All interested persons may appear at the October 6, 2015 public hearing and present their views orally or in writing.
