A. Updates from both entities.
Jonathan Ness and Phil Kern updated the group on recent projects.
B. Discussion of Employment Issues (consistency with Personnel Policies, Compensation, Benefits).
Phil Kern briefly discussed the City of Delano’s benefits package.
C. Discuss development fee collections.
D. 2016 Street and Utility Improvement Project.
Shawn Louwagie presented the group the 2016 Street and Utility Improvement Project, reviewing each street and proposed improvement.
E. Consider resolution for gambling permit for Delano Lions to conduct raffle on February 7, 2016.
Motion by Jack Russek, seconded by Betsy Stolfa to adopt Resolution R--15--36 approving the gambling application for an exemption permit for the Delano Lion’s Club. Motion carried 5--0 by roll call vote.
4. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, the special joint workshop of the Delano City Council/ Economic Development Authority and Delano Water, Light, and Power Commission was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
