Notice is hereby given that Quote Proposals will be received by Franklin Township Clerk/ Treasurer until 4:00 p.m. (CST), Friday, July 1, 2016 for the furnishing of all labor and material for the purpose of Seal Coating alternate road location sites in Franklin Township using FA-2 Granite Seal Aggregate. Alternate Road Location Sites in Franklin Township to be quoted for Seal Coating are:
Brighton Avenue SE-approximately .55 miles- south off of US Highway 12
Eastwood Avenue (1/2 way Bridge) -Eastwood Avenue SE @ corner of County Road 16 SE
Rice Lake Meadows-approximately .5 miles- Fairhill Avenue SE off 110th Street SE
110th Street SE -approximately .3 miles-west of County Road 17 to Fairhill Ave SE
57th Street SE-approximately .5 miles- east off of Farmington Ave SE
Big Woods Addition & 45th Court-approximately .6 miles-45th Street SE, 45th Court and 44th Street SE off of Farmington Ave SE
White Birch Acres Addition-approximately .4 miles-44th Street SE & Franham Avenue SE off of Farmington Avenue SE

The roads to receive Seal Coating must be itemized and quoted. The Town Board will make a final decision on all road location sites. It will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to furnish, erect and maintain warning lights and barricades as required to adequately warn and protect the public from hazardous protrusions, materials, excavations etc, at least one week prior to contracted work. Work must be completed during the 2016 season.

Quotes shall be directed to the Township Clerk/Treasurer, 8735 County Road 16, Delano, MN 55328 securely sealed, and endorsed upon the outside wrapper “BID FOR 2016 SEAL COATING.” Clerk must be in receipt of quote proposal on or before the due date & time set forth in this notice. All quotes proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. (CST) at the Township Hall, 8735 County Road 16, Delano, Minnesota 55328.
The Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interest of the Township.

Notice is hereby given that the Delano City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, 7:00pm, or as soon thereafter as the parties may be heard, in the Council Chambers at Delano City Hall, 234 2nd Street North, Delano, MN 55328, to consider annexation by Ordinance at the request of the property owners according to State Statute, Section 414.033, Subd. 2(3). The proposed area to be annexed includes the following property:
