NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 for the electors of Franklin Township at the Township Hall, 8735 County Road 16 SE, Delano, MN. Polls will be open from seven o’clock AM (7:00 AM) to eight o’clock PM (8:00 PM) for the purpose of voting.

CITY OF INDEPENDENCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City General Election will be held in the City of Independence, Minnesota on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. The hours of voting in all polling places will be from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Polling Place for Independence residents is Independence City Hall, 1920 County Road 90, Independence, MN 55359.
A public test of the voting systems used to tabulate ballots in the municipal General will be held on Friday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m. at Independence City Hall, 1920 County Road 90, Independence, MN 55359.
Voters who will be absent from the precinct on Election Day or unable to vote in person may vote by absentee ballot. Ballots may be obtained by mail or in person at Independence City Hall during regular business hours. City Hall will also be open Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for absentee voting. In-person absentee voting will end at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 7.

Upon motion by C. Milano, seconded by L. Seguin, the Board of Education accepted a Letter of Resignation from custodian, David Graeber. Motion passed.

Upon motion by L. Seguin, seconded by C. Milano, the meeting was adjourned at 6:16 p.m. Motion passed.
