Notice is given that on July 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at 10 2nd St NW #201, Buffalo, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Kathryn Slunaker, whose address is 17742 2nd Street SW, Cokato, MN, 55321 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.

UNOFFICIAL SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES I.S.D. #466, BOARD OF EDUCATION 7:00 P.M. REGULAR BOARD MEETING, APRIL 25, 2016 DASSEL-COKATO BOARD ROOM
In partnership with our communities, Dassel-Cokato Public Schools will provide all learners opportunities designed to maximize their potential and promote lifelong learning.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 466 (Dassel-Cokato, Minnesota) was duly held in the Dassel-Cokato Board Room, Cokato, Minnesota, on Monday, April 25, 2016.
McConkey called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The following members were present: Clemen, Aho, Nelson, McConkey, Linder and Bender. The following were absent: none.
The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance. Motion by Clemen, seconded by Aho, accepting the agenda as printed. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Nelson, seconded by Bender, approving payment of bills as presented including payroll, hand payables and contingency totaling $1,963,733.87 Motion carried unanimously.
Curriculum Advisory Committee (CAC) Report: Aho submitted minutes Technology Report: None MAWSECO Report: Bender submitted a written report Community Education Report: None
Business Manager’s Report: Business Manager Palmer reported expenditures are in line with budget through the end of the tenth month of the fiscal year and reviewed the investment report with the board. Business Manager Palmer also reported the District is moving forward with the summer meal program through Cokato Elementary.

Student Representative’s Report included: Fine Arts, Arts Festival, Mock Crash, State FFA, and DECA Nationals
Superintendent’s Report included: recognition of board members for Phase III and IV training, weight room update, hiring update
Clemen reported on Phase III and IV training.
Motion by Clemen, seconded by Bender, approving all consent items, which included approval of the minutes from the March 28, 2016 Regular Board Meeting and April 14, 2016 Special Board Meeting. Approval of Wire transfers made on March 29th for $185,000, March 31st for $715,000, April 11th for $75,000, and April 15th for $830,000. Personnel Items: Assignment of Patricia McCain as night lead custodian effective 3/30/2016, Employment of Donald Olson as a Middle School full-time custodian effective 4/7/2016, Employment of Darrin Blanchette as part-time custodian(5.5 hrs) at ALC/Cokato Elementary effective 4/18/2016, Resignation of Taumra Wilson as a Cokato Elementary special needs paraeducator effective 2/5/2016, Resignation of Robin Groetsch as the HS FOCUS Instructor effective 6/3/2016, Resignation of Tiffany Hannus as the part-time Middle School secretary effective 6/2/2016, Resignation/Retirement of David Nord as the .67 HS and ALC Art Instructor effective 6/3/2016, Resignation of Merrin Polzine-Lust as a Middle School 6th Grade Instructor effective 6/3/2016, Retirement/Resignation of Lori Stangland as a Cokato Elementary Instructor effective 6/3/2016, Assignment of Tiffany Hannus as the Middle School’s Administrative Secretary effective August, 2016, Requesting Approval of 7 weeks unpaid medical leave for Cokato Elementary Paraeducator Angela Mochinski from 4/19/16 to 6/2/2016, Approval of a lane change for Tony Dehler from BA+45 to MA, Assignment of Mark Lingl as a volunteer Junior High Softball Coach, Retirement/Resignation of Gerri McWheter as the ALC Paraeducator effective 6/2/2016. Acceptance of Donations From: Cokato Dairy Queen - $227 to Cokato Elementary, Cokato Dairy Queen - $227 to Dassel Elementary, Target - $400.96 to Dassel Elementary, Rachel Yates & Wells Fargo - $60 to the Music & Activities departments, For the Spanish trip to Guatemala: Cokato Motor Sales, Inc. - $100 and Dairy Queen - $148. Motion carried unanimously.
Superintendent Powers updated the board on the CTE building project including information from the Fire Marshall that may restrict additional building on the HS/MS site because of limitations on the current fire suppression system.
Member Aho introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE TERMINATION AND NONRENEWAL OF THE TEACHING CONTRACTS OF Adam Westby and Laurie Villock, PROBATIONARY TEACHERS.
WHEREAS, Adam Westby and Laurie Villock are probationary teachers in Independent School District No. 466.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the School Board of Independent School District No. 466 that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 122A.40, Subdivision 5, that the teaching contracts of Adam Westby and Laurie Villock, probationary teachers in Independent School District No.466, are hereby terminated at the close of the current 2015 - 2016 school year.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that written notice be sent to said teachers regarding termination and non-renewal of their contract as provided by law, and that said notice shall be in substantially the following form: NOTICE OF TERMINATION AND NON-RENEWAL

You are hereby notified that at a regular meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 466 held on April 25, 2016, a resolution was adopted by a majority vote to terminate your contract effective at the end of the current school year. Said action of the board is taken pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 122A.40, Subd. 5.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Clemen and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Aho, Bender, McConkey, Nelson, Linder, Clemen and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Motion by Linder, seconded by Bender, approving a July, 2016 Marching Band Trip to Traverse City, Michigan. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Bender, seconded by Nelson, supporting a Memorandum of Understanding between The City Of Dassel, The City Of Cokato, The Township Of Dassel, The Township Of Cokato, and The Dassel Cokato ISD #466 To provide funding for the long-term maintenance of The Dassel-Cokato Area Trail. Motion to refer to committee by Linder, seconded by Clemen, requesting that concerns with areas 4, 12, and 14 in the MOU be addressed and that the MOU be brought back to the board. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Clemen, seconded by Aho, ratifying the contract between ISD 466 and the Lead Bus Maintenance position effective July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017. The terms of the agreement include an increase in hourly rate from $18.95 to $20.00 in year one and no increase in year two. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion by Nelson, seconded by Clemen, approving sale of the 2015-16 vocational house for $40,500 plus Minnesota sales tax to Daniel & Valerie Hillstrom. Motion carried unanimously.
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:57 PM.

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 466 (Dassel-Cokato, Minnesota) was duly held in the Dassel-Cokato Board Room, Cokato, Minnesota, on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
Chairman McConkey called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
The following members were present: Aho, Nelson, McConkey, Clemen, Linder, and Bender. The following were absent: none.
The meeting began with the pledge of allegiance.
Motion by Linder, seconded by Nelson, accepting the agenda as written. Motion carried unanimously.
Students from Cokato Elementary and the middle school made presentations to the board.
Paul Youngquist, from ARY, and members of the faculty presented 3 options for the CTE building project and engaged in conversation with the board on the project.
Business Manager Palmer presented the 2016-2017 Capital Budget for a first reading.
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:52 PM.
