CITY OF DASSELPUBLIC NOTICE
The following City Code Sections have been amended and adopted by the Dassel City Council on August 15, 2016. The is a summary of the full text which is available at the Dassel City Hall, 460 3rd St, Dassel, MN.
The Code of Ordinances of the City of Dassel, TITLE XIII: GENERAL OFFENSES, is hereby amended by adding Chapter 131 establishing restrictions on certain conduct of predatory sex offenders within the City of Dassel, and by adding Chapter 132 establishing exclusion zones and prohibiting certain conduct and employment by sex offenders for the protection of minors.

Ordinance No 2016-03City of Cokato Telecommunications
ORDINANCE NO 2016-03, amending the City of Cokato’s Zoning Ordinance to include a section governing Telecommunications, has been adopted by the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota on Monday, August 15, 2016. This Ordinance takes effect immediately.
This ordinance is a re-adoption of the Telecommunications Ordinance implemented in 1997 as Ordinance 97-1, and the general governing provisions have not changed from the previous adoption.

ORDINANCE NO: 2016-04Ordinance Opting-Out of the Requirements of Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593
The City Council of the City of Cokato, Minnesota ordains as follows:
WHEREAS, on May 12, 2016, Governor Dayton signed into law the creation and regulation of temporary family health care dwellings, codified at Minn. Stat. § 462.3593, which permit and regulate temporary health care dwellings; and
WHEREAS, subdivision 9 of Minn. Stat. § 462.3593 allows cities to opt-out of those regulations.
A public hearing to consider the health care dwelling law and the opt-out provisions was held before the Cokato Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday, August 1, 2016, at which time the Commission recommended opting-out of the health care dwelling law.
The City Council hereby ordains that Title XV: Land Usage; Chapter 153: Zoning Regulations is hereby amended to add the following Section 153.085, Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings:
Section 153.085 – Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings
(A) Pursuant to authority granted by Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.3593, subdivision 9, the City of Cokato opts-out of the requirements of Minn. Stat. § 462.3593, which defines and regulates Temporary Family Health Care Dwellings.
This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication, which is hereby authorized by the City Council.
Adopted by the Cokato City Council, Wright County, Minnesota this 15th day of August, 2016.
