RECEIPT AND OPENING OF PROPOSALS: Sealed proposals for the work described below will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City of Winsted, 201 First Street North, Winsted, MN 55395-0126 until 10:00 AM on June 14, 2016 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work includes the construction of approximately:

115 LF 12” to 18” Storm Sewer
200 LF 6” PVC Watermain
150 LF 6” PVC Sanitary Sewer

together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, and Responsible Contractor Certification.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF NEW GERMANY
Notice is hereby given that the New Germany City Council will hold a series of public hearings beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the New Germany City Hall located at 300 Broadway Street East, New Germany, Minnesota.
Hearing No. 1. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the application of Minnesota Solar, LLC for a zoning ordinance text amendment to allow solar facilities. Proposed amendments include additions to Section V Definitions, additions to Section VIII Zoning Districts, and additions to Section X Performance Standards.
Hearing No. 2. The purpose of this hearing is to consider the application of Minnesota Solar, LLC for a rezoning of the Montgomery property located south and east of Lindstrom Park (Carver County parcel ID 550043120), described as part of Section 4, Township 116, Range 26 from R-1 Single Family Residential District to R-2 Duplex/Townhouse/Multiple Family District and for a rezoning of the Montgomery property located further south of Lindstrom Park (Carver County parcel ID 550043110), described as part of Section 4, Township 116, Range 26 from A Agricultural District to R-2 Duplex/Townhouse/Multiple Family District. If approved, zoning descriptions will match GIS parcel descriptions by Carver County.
All interested parties are urged to attend these public hearings and give verbal or written testimony.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
An application for a Interim Use Permit (IUP) has been submitted by Minnesota Solar, LLC for parcel identification number 21.010.1600 in Winsted, Minnesota.
The application, if approved, would authorize:
The installation of a community solar energy system (solar garden) at the property located at 23121 Babcock Avenue, Winsted, Minnesota, parcel identification number (PID #) 21.010.1600.
A public hearing will be held by the Winsted Planning Commission on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 6:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 201 1st Street North, at which time you may appear if you so desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or support of the interim use permit. If you would like to make comment but will be unable to attend the hearing, you may do so by writing the City of Winsted, P.O. Box 126, Winsted, Minnesota 55395. Written comments must include your name and property address.
