They are currently housed in total confinement and partial confinement barns with open lots and a temporary manure stockpile. One partial confinement barn with open lots will be replaced with a proposed total confinement barn. A concrete reception pit and clay-lined earthen basin capable of holding the manure from 822 animal units and a permanent solid manure storage area are proposed for manure storage.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
