UNOFFICIAL SCHOOL BOARD MINUTES I.S.D. #466, BOARD OF EDUCATION 5:00 SPECIAL BOARD MEETING, APRIL 9, 2018 BOARD ROOM
In partnership with our communities, Dassel-Cokato Public Schools will provide all learners opportunities designed to maximize their potential and promote lifelong learning.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Board of Education of Independent School District No. 466 (Dassel-Cokato, Minnesota) was duly held in the Dassel-Cokato Board Room, Cokato, Minnesota, on Monday, April 9, 2018.
Clemen called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.
The following members were present: Bender, Sangren, Clemen, Nelson, Engh and Aho. The following were absent: none.
Motion by Nelson, seconded by Sangren, approving the agenda as stated. Motion carried unanimously.
The board reviewed proposed belief, mission, and vision statements and focus areas that came out of the MSBA Strategic Planning process. They discussed a possible upcoming levy and bond vote and decided to pursue the levy and two bond projects – CTE and a multi-purpose building with an ice rink. The board also discussed further involvement of the people who helped with the MSBA process and decided to invite them to a meeting on April 26.
Being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 6:50 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cokato Planning & Zoning Commission, Wright County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the council chambers at Cokato City Hall, 255 Broadway Ave S, Cokato, Minnesota 55321, to consider a request for a variance from the side yard setback for construction of two new twin homes on Fieldcrest Blvd NE.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cokato Planning & Zoning Commission, Wright County, Minnesota will conduct a public hearing on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 6 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possible in the council chambers at Cokato City Hall, 255 Broadway Ave S, Cokato, Minnesota 55321, to consider a request for a variance from the side yard setback to address drainage issues and a request to rezone a portion of the parcel from I – Industrial to R3 – Residential at the end of Pleasant Ave NE.
