YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Chapter 5 Land Use and Control, Section 5.1 Zoning, Section 5.1.14 Changes and Amendments, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 3, at 7:00 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding amendments as follows: by adding to
Chapter 5, Land use and Control, Section 5.11 through 5.11.11 establishing Planned Unit Development Overlay Districts (PUD).
It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the zoning amendment.

BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Wright County, State of Minnesota (the “County”), will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. in the Board Room at the County Government Center, 10 2nd Street NW, Buffalo, Minnesota, relating to a proposal concerning: (1) the adoption of a five year capital improvement plan (the “Plan”); and (2) the issuance of general obligation bonds (the “Bonds”) to finance construction of a new justice center within the County pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 373.40. The maximum principal amount of the Bonds to be issued under the Plan is $54,000,000 for projects identified in the Plan.
If a petition requesting a vote on the issuance of the Bonds, signed by voters equal to five percent (5%) of the votes cast in the last County general election, is filed with the County Auditor within thirty (30) days after the public hearing, the County may issue the Bonds only after obtaining approval of a majority of voters voting on the question of the issuance of the Bonds at an election.
Information on the Capital Improvement Plan is on file and may be inspected in the Administration Department, Room 235, Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
At the time and place fixed for the public hearing, the Board of Commissioners will give all persons who appear at the hearing an opportunity to express their views with respect to the proposal. In addition, written comments shall be submitted to Lee Kelly, County Coordinator, Administration Department, 10 2nd St. N.W., Room 235, Buffalo, Minnesota, 55313.

Petitions for a Conditional Use Permit as regulated in Section 152.078(A)(1), Chapter 152, Title XV, Land Usage & Zoning of the Wright County Code of Ordinances and per MN Rule 7020.2000 to allow an animal feedlot in excess of 500 animal units.
The facility consists of dairy cows, heifers and calves with an existing total animal unit capacity of 390 animal units and proposed expansion to 790 animal units. They are currently housed in one partial confinement barn with a small open lot and three total confinement barns. An existing permanent stockpile and earthen basin are used for manure storage. Two total confinement barn additions are proposed. One total confinement barn will be removed. Some of the current barns and additions are within 1000 feet of a neighboring home.
This publication shall constitute as notice to each resident and each owner of real property within 5,000 feet of the perimeter of the proposed feedlot as required by Minnesota State Law.
