CITY OF HOWARD LAKE
Notice of Public Hearing for a Proposed Special Vehicle Ordinance
The Howard Lake City Council will conduct a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at City Hall, 625 8th Ave. Howard Lake, MN to consider a Special Vehicle Ordinance. The Ordinance would allow operators of golf carts, UTVs, ATVs, and other special vehicles to drive on streets, sidewalks, or other public property if they hold a valid driver’s license and obtain a City permit.

The Board of Appeal and Equalization for Hollywood Township will meet on April 23 – 27, 2018, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at the Carver County Assessor’s office. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local Board of Appeal and Equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county Board of Appeal and Equalization.

NORTH FORK CROW RIVER WATER PLANNING PARTNERSHIP

NORTH FORK CROW ONE WATERSHED ONE PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Policy Committee of the North Fork Crow River Water Planning Partnership, during its meeting on April 16, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. will hold a public hearing to on proposed draft of the North Fork Crow One Watershed One Plan at the Meeker County Courthouse 325 N Sibley Ave, Litchfield, MN 55325. The purpose of the One Watershed One Plan is create a systematic watershed-wide approach to water management. The One Watershed One Plan currently only addresses the area contributing to the North Fork Crow River.
The draft plan can be reviewed in person at the Wright Soil and Water Conservation District or online at www.wrightswcd.org

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Mayer City Council will conduct a public hearing on an amendment to Title XI Business Regulations, Chapter 114 Sexually Oriented Businesses of the City Code for the City of Mayer, by adding a new section 114.40 Location of Sexually Oriented Businesses. The public hearing will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.
The purpose of the text amendment is to consider adding text in relation to setbacks for sexually oriented uses from schools, religious institutions, public parks or residentially zoned areas.
