Notice is hereby given that a general election will be held in McLeod County on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 for the purpose of electing candidates for the offices listed below. The filing period for these offices begins at 8:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018, and ends at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Notice is hereby given per Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 215, that Krienke Dairy has made application to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the County of McLeod for a permit to construct or expand a feedlot with a capacity of 500 animal units or more.

HOWARD LAKE HYDRANT FLUSHING: WEDNESDAY, MAY 16 – FRIDAY, MAY 18
The City of Howard Lake will be flushing fire hydrants to remove mineral deposits and ensure hydrants are working properly. During this time, water may become discolored, water pressure may drop, or both. The water is safe to drink, but it may stain fabrics if clothes are being washed during the flushing. We recommend not washing white or light colored clothing during this time.
