NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Howard Lake Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on November 20, 2018 at 7:00 pm or shortly thereafter. The public hearing will be conducted at City Hall located at 625 8th Ave. in Howard Lake.
The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a vacation of an alley right-of-way easement in Block 33 of the Original Plat of Howard Lake.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Howard Lake Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on November 13, 2018 at 6:00 pm. The public hearing will be conducted at City Hall located at 625 8th Ave. in Howard Lake.
The purpose of the public hearing is to consider ordinance amendments updating the City’s animal licensing ordinance and amending regulations related to the keeping of domestic animals, kennels, and allowing the limited keeping of chickens on residential property.

Melissa Shelton is requesting a renewal of her Conditional Use Permit for home based animal “rubbing oil” business. This is PID #212-000-181102. It is located at 1969 Co Rd 5 SW in Middleville Township.

Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given, that on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 the Middleville Township Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing at the Middleville Township Hall at 7:00 pm to consider the following item:
Marla, Richard and Gertrude Weller are requesting a lot line variance for the purpose of splitting off the north sixty acres of their property (PID #212-000-084101) to sell. This 60 acres is farm land only, and will have no building entitlement. The described split is in the Southeast and Northeast Quarter of Section 08, Middleville Township. The proposed split does not contain a complete quarter of a quarter of a section of land, which is the reason a variance is required, according to ordinance.
Such persons that desire to be heard with reference to the proposed variance will be heard at this time. If you do not attend the hearing or submit written comment, it will be assumed that you have no objections to the proposal.

Public hearing - City of Winsted
Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Winsted City Council on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 201-1st Street North, to consider, and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment for the Industrial Boulevard Improvement Project, an improvement to the street and drainage system to Industrial Boulevard between CSAH 1 and the dead end to the east. The properties proposed to be assessed are those abutting Industrial Boulevard. Adoption by the Winsted City Council of the proposed assessment may occur at the hearing.
The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at the Winsted City Clerk-Treasurer’s office. The total amount of the proposed assessment to all benefitted properties is $20,732. Written or oral objections will be considered at the meeting. No appeal to district court may be taken as to the amount of an assessment unless a written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the Winsted City Clerk-Treasurer prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. The Winsted City Council may upon such notice consider any objection to the amount of a proposed individual assessment at an adjourned meeting upon such further notice to the affected property owners as it deems advisable.
An owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to Minnesota State Statute § 429.081 by serving notice of the appeal upon the Mayor or City Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Winsted within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or City Clerk-Treasurer. However, no appeal may be taken on the amount of the assessment unless a written objection signed by the property owner was filed with the City Clerk-Treasurer before the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing, unless the failure to object was due to reasonable cause.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Howard Lake Planning Commission will be holding a public hearing on November 13, 2018 at 6:00 pm. The public hearing will be conducted at City Hall located at 625 8th Ave. in Howard Lake.
The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a comprehensive plan amendment to change the land use designation of property in the south half of Block 33 of the Original Plat of Howard Lake from School to Park and to include the property in the Park Plan. The site is the former school property on 9th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.

CITY OF WAVERLY
NOTICE OF HEARING
OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Waverly, Minnesota will meet on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. at City Hall, 502 Atlantic Avenue, Waverly, Minnesota to consider the proposed assessment for the following:
Unpaid utility charges.
The area proposed to be assessed is the properties that have received utility services but have not paid for them.
The total amount of the proposed assessment on all properties is $23,555.37 as of the October 2018 billing cycle. This amount will be revised based on utility payments received and an adjustment will be made to include November billing statement amounts.
The proposed assessment roll is on file with the City Clerk and is open to public inspection. Written or oral objections will be considered during the hearing.
No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.081, Subdivision 2, unless written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. An owner may appeal an assessment to District Court pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.081 by serving notice of the assessment and filing such notice with the District Court within ten days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk.
An owner may request deferment of an assessment pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 435.193 to 435.195.
