NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ENACT AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COUNTY CODE AND ZONING MAP
COUNTY OF CARVER
CHASKA, MINNESOTA
TO: AMEND CHAPTER 152, ZONING CODE & OFFICIAL CARVER COUNTY ZONING MAP
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 20th day of November, 2018, as soon as possible after 4:00 p.m. upstairs in the Social Services wing, in the Commissioner’s Meeting Room of the Carver County Government Center, Chaska, Minnesota, the Carver County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing to consider adoption of an ordinance amending the Carver County Code, and the Zoning Map including the Floodplain Overlay District.
PROPOSED CHANGES: Ordinance #88-2018 would amend the County Code Chapter 152 pertaining to Floodplain regulations and the Official Zoning Map for the unincorporated areas of the County. A significant portion of the amendments are intended to update the Zoning Code and Zoning Map to correspond with the approved Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and Floodplain Management measures. There are also several text changes and reorganized sections. The proposed amendments include but may not be limited to: updated zoning language of Chapter 152 and map references, updated Floodplain Overlay District boundaries based on FEMA and MN/DNR review and approval and adding or revising definitions.

NOTICE OF ABANDONED PROPERTY
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office has the following unclaimed items in their possession: 3 Wheeler, windows, door, bike tire, bicycles, cell phones, money, diamond ring, tent, table range, model kit, duffle bag, backpacks, suitcase, DVD player, laundry basket, notebooks, silver box, wallet, tablet, collector coins, safe, and 2006 BMW.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office may also have property belonging to the following people: Home Depot, Damon Rohde, Stephen Newman, and Christina Toews.
If you believe any of this property belongs to you please call 763-682-7680 or 763-684-2363 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Prior to release of any property proof of ownership will be required.
