New public notices published in the issue of July 5, 2019

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at 1920 County Road 90 on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. to review the following request:
1. PUBLIC HEARING: George and Linda Betts (Applicants) request that the City consider the following action for the properties identified by (PID No.s 14-118-24-34-0003 and 14-118-24-34-0007) and located at 6050 Pagenkopf Road and 2465 Becker Road in Independence, MN:
a. A minor subdivision to allow a lot line rearrangement to adjust the east west property line separating the properties to the north.
b. A conditional use permit to allow the existing detached structure to be an accessory dwelling unit on the 6050 Pagenkopf Road property.
The items highlighted above may have a direct or indirect effect on your property. All persons wishing to be heard with reference to these applications will be given the opportunity at this meeting. Written comments can be directed to City Hall, 1920 County Road 90, Independence, MN 55359. Plans will be available for review at the City Office prior to the meeting (please call ahead to ensure that the plans are on file).

Notice is hereby given that the Delano City Council will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Delano City Hall, located at 234 2nd Street North, to consider the proposed improvements at or near the following location:
3521 County Road 30 SE
Delano, MN 55328
The improvements include the reconstruction of the C.S.A.H. 30 and intersection improvements. The purpose of the improvement hearing is to allow affected property owners to review and comment on the nature and merits of undertaking the improvement project. Adoption by the Council of the proposed improvement may be taken at the hearing.
The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement is:

The estimated cost of such improvement is $2,800,000.00. Notices will be mailed to owners of those particular lots, pieces, or parcels of land prior to the hearing which are intended to be assessed. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessments will be available at this meeting.
Following the hearing, the Council will decide whether to undertake the project as proposed or modified, and will, by resolution, order the improvement. Such persons as desired to be heard with reference to the above proposed improvement will be heard at the public hearing. All interested persons are invited to attend the meeting and will be afforded the opportunity to speak on the applications during the public hearing.
