NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that a regular meeting of the McLeod County Board of Adjustment will be held on Thursday, the 25th day of July 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in the McLeod County Environmental Services Facility, Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF SAID MEETING is to consider the following application located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process.
1) A VARIANCE APPLICATION filed by Neil Kerkvliet requesting to reduce the required side yard setback of 20.00 feet to 2.0 feet for the purpose of a dwelling addition of an attached garage, dining room and partial bath onto a legal non-conforming dwelling.
THE PREMISES UPON WHICH said request is located is described as follows: 2.50 Acres of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter EX RR of Section 3, Township 116-27 (Bergen.)
THIS HEARING will be held by the McLeod County Board of Adjustment at which time you may appear in opposition to or support of the proposed application.

YOU ARE HEREBY notified that the regular meeting of the McLeod County Planning Advisory Commission has been scheduled on Wednesday, the 24th day of July 2019 at 9:30 A.M. at the McLeod County Environmental Services Facility in the Large Conference Room, located at 1065 5th Ave SE, Hutchinson, Minnesota 55350.
THE PURPOSE OF THE SAID MEETING is to consider the following applications located in the County of McLeod and filed with the County Environmental Services Director. All requests are subject to modification during the hearing process. Complete legal descriptions are on file in the Environmental Services Office.
1. A PRELIMINARY PLAT request by Kurt and Jill Pevestorf on property owned by Lynn & Bonnie Mueller REVOC TR for a 1-Lot Plat to be located within 40 Acres of Auditor’s Plat Lot 43 of Section 2 in Township 116-27 (Bergen).
2. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT request by Matt Lynch for an accessory structure (proposed 50’ X 80’) to be greater than 2,400 square feet on a parcel that is less than ten (10) acres in size for cold storage purposes and to be located in Section 25 of MC ADDITION Lot-002 Block-001, Township 117-27 (Winsted).
3. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT request by Tony Hand for the purpose of an accessory structure to be greater than 2,400 square feet on a platted parcel of land and to be located in HOLASEK-HEIGEL SUBDIVISION, LOT-002, BLOCK-001 of Section 1 in Township 116-27 (Bergen).
4. A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT request by Renesola Power (Minneapolis) for a 1-Megawatt (AC) Community Solar Array Garden to be known as Lester Prairie CSG 1 LLC on property owned by Brenda Torblaa and to be located within 8 acres in part of the NE 1⁄4 of the NE 1⁄4 of Section 32 in Township 117-27 (Winsted.)
THESE HEARINGS will be held by the McLeod County Planning Commission at which time you may appear if you desire, either in person or by agent or attorney, in opposition to or in support of the proposed application. Thereafter, the McLeod County Planning Commission shall forward its recommendations to the County Board of Commissioners. If you desire to provide comments or objections to the Planning Commissions’ recommendations, you may take your request to the County Board which has the final authority to act on the findings of the Planning Commission.

PUBLIC NOTICE
RESIDENTS AND PROPERTY OWNERS WITHIN THE CITY OF LESTER PRAIRIE
AND 350’ OF
100 MAPLE STREET SOUTH
FROM: LESTER PRAIRIE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, in accordance with the Lester Prairie Municipal Code, Section 5.1 Zoning, Section 5.1.5.6 Lot Area, Frontage and Yard Regulations, Section 5.1.5 R2 Multiple Family Residential District, and Section 5.1.11.2 Variances, that the Lester Prairie Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 25th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in City Hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding a variance request submitted by Tim Ross. The property is located within the City of Lester Prairie at 106 Maple Street South. The legal description of the property is Lester Prairie, Block – 020, Lots 2 through 11 & Lot 28, except the East 25’ & East to West Vacated Alley & Vacated North to South Alley.
The Variance Request is for the construction of three (3), two (2)-unit townhomes with the following variance:
To construct three (3), two (2)-unit townhomes with front and rear setback allowance of 4’ from the property line, and also to have a “zero foot setback” on the common walls between the individual housing units. In addition, the setback between the buildings will be at 10’ as per the engineered drawing. All other building codes and setbacks will be followed.
