CITY OF MAYER
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Mayer Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing for a variance request at 856 Shimmcor Street. The public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as persons may reasonably be heard, at Mayer City Hall, 413 Bluejay Avenue.
The purpose of the variance request is to reduce the number of required off-street parking spaces for a new industrial building that would require a total of fourteen off-street parking spaces. The property is located in the C/I Commercial/Industrial District and the applicant has requested to defer the construction of some of the required off-street parking spaces at this time.
A copy of the proposed variance request, in its entirety, is available at City Hall for review. CITY OF WAVERLY
NOTICE OF HEARING
OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Waverly, Minnesota will meet on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. at City Hall, 502 Atlantic Avenue, Waverly, Minnesota to consider the proposed assessment for the following:
Unpaid utility charges.
The area proposed to be assessed is the properties that have received utility services but have not paid for them.
The total amount of the proposed assessment on all properties is $18,066.15 as of the October 2019 billing cycle. This amount will be revised based on utility payments received and an adjustment will be made to include November billing statement amounts.
The proposed assessment roll is on file with the City Clerk and is open to public inspection. Written or oral objections will be considered during the hearing.
No appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment adopted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.081, Subdivision 2, unless written objection signed by the affected property owner is filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. An owner may appeal an assessment to District Court pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.081 by serving notice of the assessment and filing such notice with the District Court within ten days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk.
An owner may request deferment of an assessment pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 435.193 to 435.195.

THE WRIGHT COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO
CHAPTER 155 ZONING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Wright County Planning Commission on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 7:30 P.M., will hold a public hearing to consider amending the Wright County Code of Ordinances. The amendment has been assigned number 19-6. This consideration and discussion will take place in the Commissioners’ Board Room at the Wright County Government Center, Buffalo, Minnesota.
The Wright County Planning Commission will be reviewing and discussing proposed amendment to the Wright County Code of Ordinances. The proposed amendments will amend § 155.081. This proposed amended ordinance allows for off-street parking areas in all zoning districts to be improved with a durable and dustless aggregate material or similar treatment. The amendment authorizes the Planning Commission, as part of a conditional use permit, to place requirements on the type of park surface.
The proposed ordinance can be reviewed in person in the Wright County Planning and Zoning Office in the Wright County Government Center.
Written comments must be submitted to Wright County Planning and Zoning, 10 2nd Street N.W., Room 140, Buffalo, MN 55313. All comments received by November 6, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. will receive full consideration by the Wright County Planning Commission.
