Special Primary Election – House District 30A
The Wright County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office is administering absentee voting for residents of Otsego P3 for the Special Primary Election for House District 30A on Tuesday, January 14, 2020. Absentee voting can be done in-person at the Wright County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office, 10 – 2nd St NW, Room 230, Buffalo, MN during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Additional voting hours will be Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Monday, January 13, 2020 from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m. Absentee voting can also be done via mail by contacting the Auditor/Treasurer’s Office at (763) 682-7692 or elections@co.wright.mn.us.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test of the AutoMARK assistive voting device used for absentee voting for the January 14, 2020 Special Primary Election for State Representative District 30A, will be conducted at the Wright County Auditor/Treasurer’s Office, 10 2nd St NW Room 230, Buffalo, MN on Wednesday, January 8 at 3:00 p.m. The Public Accuracy Test is open to the public.

Notice of Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given, that on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 the Middleville Township Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing at the Middleville Township Hall at 7:00 pm to consider the following item:
Thomas Tiegs, Trustee has made a request for a lot line variance for his property in Middleville Township, Wright County (PID #212-000-23100). The property is the NE quarter of the SW quarter and the NW quarter of the SE quarter of Section 02. He wishes to split the whole property approximately in half, the long way. By ordinance, a split like this is only allowed as a full quarter of a quarter section.

Whereas, The Wright County Board of Commissioners, acting as the Wright County Drainage Authority, has determined that the benefits or damages of record do not reflect current land values and have appointed viewers to redetermine the benefits and damages determined for the original construction and subsequent improvements to the aforementioned drainage system, and; Whereas, the Viewers Report for the Redetermination of Benefits has been filed with the County Auditor.
NOW, THEREFORE, Notice is hereby given that the Drainage Authority will hear public comment on the acceptance of the redetermination of benefits in the Board Room of the Wright County Courthouse in Buffalo, Minnesota on January 14th , 2020 at 1:30 p.m. All persons interested in the redetermination of benefits wanting to be heard should appear at this time. If accepted, the redetermined benefits will replace those now being used and all future maintenance expenses will be assessed based upon the redetermined benefits.

Whereas, The Wright County Board of Commissioners, acting as the Wright County Drainage Authority, has received a petition for partial abandonment of Branch #1 of County Ditch #29, and; Whereas, the petition has been filled with the auditor of Wright County.
NOW, THEREFORE, Notice is hereby given that the Drainage Authority will hear public comment on the acceptance of the partial abandonment in the Board Room of the Wright County Courthouse in Buffalo, Minnesota on January 14th , 2020 at 2:45 p.m. All persons interested in the partial abandonment wanting to be heard should appear at this time. If accepted, the partial abandonment would remove the responsibility of the drainage authority for repairs on this section of the ditch.

It is Ordered and Notice is given that on February 3, 2020, at 8:30 a.m., a hearing will be held in this Court at McLeod County Courthouse, 830 11th St. E., Glencoe, Minnesota, for the adjudication of intestacy and determination of heirship of the Decedent, and for the appointment of Alexia Schlafer, whose address is 229 4th St., Apt. 6, West Des Moines, IA 50265 as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an UNSUPERVISED administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to administer the Estate, including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
