Sealed Prime General Contract bids for Dassel-Cokato High School Pool Area HVAC & Plumbing Renovations will be received by the Owner at the office of the Superintendent, 4852 Reardon Ave. SW, Suite 1700, Cokato, MN 55321 by mail or personal delivery until Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at which date and time the bids will be opened and read aloud.
A prebid conference will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the location of the Work.
Project Scope: Selective demolition and construction of installation of new HVAC equipment, structural steel supports, roofing system patch and repair Work, pool surge tank in pool tunnel, pool wall ceramic tile patching Work for new supply piping, and other Work indicated in the drawings and specifications.
Bidders shall submit their proposal on the forms provided. The proposal shall be filled in clearly and correctly with ink or another permanent format. The proposal shall be signed in ink by the individual, members of the partnership, or by one or more officers of the corporation making the proposal.
Drawings, specifications, and other Bidding Documents may also be obtained online at www.questcdn.com. There will be a $25.00non-refundable downloading fee to access a pdf copy of the documents online.

All bids shall be sealed in an opaque envelope upon which shall be plainly marked “BID ON Dassel-Cokato High School Pool Area HVAC & Plumbing Renovations – Cokato, MINNESOTA” and the name of the bidder. If a bid is to be mailed, the bid envelope shall be sealed in a regular mailing envelope. FAX and E-mail Bids will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to hold and consider the bids for 30 days after the date of the bid opening. Bids shall be accompanied by a cashier’s check, bidder’s bond, or certified check payable to PROJECT NAME OR OWNER NAME for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid including add-alternates. A bidder’s bond shall include certified copy of the power of attorney.
The right to waive any informality in any bid and reject any or all bids is reserved to the Owner.

City of CokatoWinter Parking Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Cokato’s Winter Parking rules will go into effect on November 15th. No person shall stop, stand, or park any vehicle or permit it to stand on any street in the City between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on any day from November 15th through May 1st . Reminder that the city ordinance regarding parking is available for review at city hall or on the city website.

Notice is hereby given that the Cokato City Council will hold a special City Council meeting on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. at the Community Room located in Cokato City Hall to discuss the proposed reconstruction of streets in the community including Lee Avenue, Swanson Avenue SE, Linden Avenue SE (between 3rd Street and 7th Street), and 4th Street SE.
