Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received until 2:30 PM, Wednesday, February 26th, 2020, at the office of:

The bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of the Bertram Chain of Lakes Regional Park Campground Improvement Project. Major components of the work include:
1. Earthwork and final grading
2. Gravel and bituminous road surfaces and camping pads
3. Septic system installation including holding tanks, pumps, and drainage
4. Sanitary sewer service and piping to proposed buildings and campsites
5. Water service to proposed buildings and campsites
6. Electrical service to proposed buildings and campsites
7. Concrete walks and curbs
8. Landscape planting including trees, shrubs, and lawn/native seeding
9. Work shall begin approximately April 1st, 2020 and be substantially completed by November 1st, 2020.
Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Project Manual and Construction Documents prepared by Loucks dated January 27th, 2020.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 13th for bidders to clarify project scope and bidding issues. While highly recommended, attendance at the pre-bid conference will not be mandatory. The pre-bid meeting will be held at:

Bid security in the amount of 10% percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

STATE OF MINNESOTA NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE MINNESOTA INVESTMENT FUND APPLICATION TO BE SUBMITTED ON BEHALF OF THE MILLERBERND MANUFACTURING PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Winsted, McLeod County, Minnesota, will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at approximately 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at Winsted City Hall, 201 1st Street North, Winsted, Minnesota, concerning the submittal of an application to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development for funding under the Minnesota Investment Fund (MIF) program.
The City of Winsted is requesting funding to assist with the expansion of Millerbernd Manufacturing, Incorporated, in the City of Winsted. The funds will be used to assist in the creation of jobs.
All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing at which time you will be given the opportunity to express comments on the project. Written testimony will also be accepted at the public hearing. Written comments must be received by the start of the public hearing. Specific questions regarding the project and application can be directed to Adam Birkholz, City Administrator.
The City of Winsted makes reasonable accommodation for any known disability and to meet the needs of non-English speaking residents that may interfere with a person’s ability to participate in this public hearing.
