January 27, 2020PUBLIC NOTICEFROM: LESTER PRAIRIE CITY COUNCIL
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED, School District #424 has submitted a Petition for Street and Alley Vacancy to the City of Lester Prairie. The Lester Prairie City Council will hold a public hearing regarding the Petition for Vacancy on February 18, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. in city hall.
The purpose of said public hearing is to receive public input, orally or in writing, personally, by agent or attorney, regarding a petition received from School District #424 for the vacating of Second Avenue North between Hickory Street North on the East end and Fir Street North on the West end, ALSO vacating the North-South Alley between lots described as AP Sec 2-116-27, 100’ x 125’ on the South end of Lot 5 and AP Sec 2-116-27 Lester Prairie 115’ x 125’ of Lot 5.
It is important for residents to attend this public hearing and provide their input regarding the vacating of a portion of Second Avenue North and an alley right of way.

NOTICE OF SHERIFF’S EXECUTION SALEPERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS, an Order for Abatement was filed on the 16th day of December 2020, in a court action in the City of Buffalo, Minnesota, in the County of Wright, between the County of Wright and against Robin Ann Schiel and Korie Allan Schiel, Defendants, in favor of the Plaintiff County of Wright and against said Defendants in the office of the Clerk of said District Court for said County, and
WHEREAS, abatement of the property for the Defendants was executed on January 16, 2020 the property has been stored since abatement at the Wright County Compost Facility, 505 County Road 37 N.E., Buffalo, Minnesota, 55313.
WHEREAS, a sale shall be conducted pursuant to Minnesota Statute §550.18 and the Sheriff of Wright County will sell at public auction to the highest cash bidder at Wright County Compost Facility, Upper Tipping Floor, 505 County Road 37 N.E., Buffalo, Minnesota, 55313, in the Township of Monticello, and in the County of Wright, on the 11th day of February, 2020, at 1:30 o’clock p.m. of that day, all right, title and interest of the above named defendant in and to the personal property, hereinafter described as follows:
1. 1989 White Ford, MN License Plate Number RVB8370
The item above stated contains numerous miscellaneous items which are being sold with the vehicle.
THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING TITLE TO THE VEHICLE.
ALL PROPERTY MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE STORAGE FACILITY WITHIN TWO HOURS OF THE SALE. FAILURE TO REMOVE THE PROPERTY WILL RESULT IT BEING IMPOUNDED AND SUBJECT TO FURTHER FEES.
