Quotes will be opened at the Monday, April 13, 2020 meeting.

Important Information Regarding Property Assessments
This may affect your 2021 property taxes
The Board of Appeal and Equalization for Hollywood Township will meet on April 13 – May 15 , 2020 8:00 am – 4:30 pm at the Carver County Assessor’s office. The purpose of this meeting is to determine whether property in the jurisdiction has been properly valued and classified by the assessor.
If you believe the value or classification of your property is incorrect, please contact your assessor’s office to discuss your concerns. If you disagree with the valuation or classification after discussing it with your assessor, you may appear before the local Board of Appeal and Equalization. The board will review your assessments and may make corrections as needed. Generally, you must appeal to the local board before appealing to the county Board of Appeal and Equalization.

PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE
CITY OF NEW GERMANY
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of New Germany will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at the New Germany City Office located at 300 Broadway Street East, New Germany, Minnesota. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance request for roof top solar on a commercial business at 206 State Avenue S, Award Baking, as allowed by city ordinance.
The application for the roof top commercial solar variance is available for review and may be requested by email or mail, ngcityhall@gmail.com or 952-353-2488.
All interested parties are urged to respond to the variance request by email or by written mail testimony in regards to the variance Public Hearing. You may also drop your comments in the utility drop box and remember to include your name and contact information. On account of the COVID-19 pandemic this is the best way to communicate your concerns to the Council. Council may be holding the Public Hearing remotely; this is unknown at the time of this posting. The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regular Council meeting. Please have comments in by 8:00 AM April 27, 2020.

NOTICE OF MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE SALE
Date: February 18, 2020
YOU ARE NOTIFIED THAT:
1. Default has occurred in the conditions of the Mortgage dated March 15, 2004, executed by James E. Noyes and Sally S. Noyes, husband and wife, as Mortgagors, to Liberty Bank Minnesota, successor in interest to Liberty Savings Bank, fsb, as Mortgagee, and filed for record April 8, 2004, as Document No. A903898, in the office of the County Recorder of Wright County, Minnesota; modified by a Mortgage Loan Modification Agreement dated March 12, 2009, and filed for record March 20, 2009, as Document No. A1112531, in the Office of the County Recorder of Wright County, Minnesota. The land described in the Mortgage is not registered land.
2. The Mortgage has not been assigned.
3. The original principal amount secured by the Mortgage was $164,000.00.
4. No action or proceeding at law is now pending to recover the debt secured by the Mortgage, or any part thereof.
5. The holder of the Mortgage has complied with all conditions precedent to acceleration of the debt secured by the Mortgage and foreclosure of the Mortgage, and all notice and other requirements of applicable statutes.
6. At the date of this Notice the amount due on the Mortgage, and taxes, if any, paid by the holder of the Mortgage is $143,840.66.

8. To the best of Mortgagee’s information, the property being foreclosed has a property address of 824 River Street West, Monticello, MN 55362, and has tax parcel identification number 155-010-045100.
9. The time allowed by law for redemption by Mortgagors or Mortgagors’ personal representatives or assigns is six (6) months after the date of sale.
10. The property must be vacated by 11:59 p.m. on October 13, 2020, provided the Mortgagors have not reinstated the Mortgage under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.30 or redeemed the property under Minnesota Statutes, Section 580.23. If the foregoing date is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday, then the date to vacate is the next business day at 11:59 p.m.
