On Monday, May 6 , at 8:08 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to an animal complaint on Adams Street, southeast of Hutchinson. The sheep were captured.

At 9:34 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted Hutchinson Police with an accident in the area of Edmonton Avenue SW and Highway 15 South in Hutchinson.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of damage to property at Swan Lake Park, north of Silver Lake, at 9:40 a.m., Monday. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of property damage at a business on Babcock Avenue, south of Winsted, at 3:14 p.m., Monday.

A complaint of cattle loose on 155th Street, southeast of Hutchinson, was received at 6:06 p.m., Monday. The deputy located the owner and the animals were corralled.

At 6:13 p.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office and the Winsted Fire Department responded to a report of a grass fire on Dill Avenue, west of Winsted.

Another fire was reported near the railroad tracks on Croyden Street in Stewart at 10:37 p.m., Monday. Also responding was the Stewart Fire Department. A deputy was able to extinguish the fire.

On Tuesday, May 7, at 6:09 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 15 and Highway 212, west of Brownton. Also responding were the Brownton Fire Department and Allina Ambulance.

At 11:02 a.m., Tuesday, the sheriff’s office and the Silver Lake Fire Department responded to a grass fire at an address on Garden Avenue, southeast of Silver Lake.

A medical was reported at 11:49 a.m., Tuesday, at an address on York Road, southwest of Hutchinson. Also responding were the Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance. An individual was taken to the Hutchinson hospital.

The sheriff’s office and the Stewart Fire Department responded to a grass fire on Yacht Avenue, north of Stewart.

At 6:53 p.m., Tuesday, the sheriff’s office assisted Winsted Police with a vehicle accident in the area of Kingsley Street South and Sherman Avenue East in Winsted. Also responding were the Winsted First Responders and the Ridgeview Ambulance. One person was taken to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.

On Wednesday, May 8, at 11:37 a.m., the sheriff’s office, Lester Prairie First Responders and the Ridgeview Ambulance responded to a medical on Dairy Avenue, southwest of Lester Prairie. There was no transport.

At 2:53 p.m.,Wednesday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with an accident involving a school bus and a car in the area of Highway 15 and 234th Circle, north of Hutchinson. Also responding were the Hutchinson Fire Department and the Allina Ambulance. There were minor injuries.

A report of a horse loose in the area of Cable Avenue and 80th Street, southeast of Glencoe, was received at 3:57 p.m., Wednesday. The owner was found and the horse was corralled.

On Thursday, May 9, at 11:03 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a report of damage to a mailbox at a residence on County Road 7, northeast of Hutchinson.

At 3:18 p.m., Thursday, the sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on Vista Road, north of Hutchinson. An individual was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

A gas drive-off was reported at 4:44 p.m., Thursday, from a business on South Street in Stewart. The person returned to pay for the gas.

On Friday, May 10, at 2:14 p.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office with checking on a grass fire on Highway 22, northwest of Hutchinson.

The sheriff’s office, Lester Prairie Fire Department and Lester Prairie Police responded to a grass fire on 185th Street, east of Lester Prairie, at 3:35 p.m., Friday.

Another fire, on Lake Hook Road, north of Hutchinson, was reported at 4:53 p.m., Friday. Everything was fine.

At 6:24 p.m., Friday, a driving complaint was received in the area of 245th Street and Zion Avenue, east of Winsted. Assisting was the Winsted Police. The individual was warned of his activity.

The sheriff’s office took information on two missing geese from a residence on Highway 7, outside of Silver Lake, at 7:28 p.m., Friday. The owner’s information was taken in case the birds are found.

At 9:45 p.m., Friday, a call was received about a medical emergency at an address on York Road, southwest of Hutchinson. Also responding were the Hutchinson First Responders and the Allina Ambulance. The personl was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

On Saturday, May 11, at 6:03 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a rolling medical in a vehicle in the area of Highway 22 and Lace Avenue, northwest of Glencoe. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was taken to the Glencoe hospital by ambulance.

The sheriff’s office responded to report of a stolen three-wheeler from a residence on County Road 9, north of Plato, at 8:09 a.m., Saturday.

A report of trespassing with a four-wheeler at a residence on Oday Avenue, northeast of Hutchinson, was reported at 5:29 p.m., Saturday. Also responding was a conservation officer. The individual was issued a trespass warning.

At 10:51 p.m., Saturday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police with an out-of-control individual they had arrested and were transporting to the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe.

On Sunday, May 12, at 12:26 a.m., the sheriff’s office responded to a driving complaint in the area of 140th Street and Nature Avenue, southeast of Hutchinson. A deputy stopped the vehicle and issued a verbal warning.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a possible domestic at a residence on Fir Avenue in Glencoe at 6:43 a.m., Sunday. The individuals were separated.

A medical on County Road 7, northeast of Hutchinson, was reported at 12:50 p.m., Sunday. Also responding were the Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance. The individual was transported to the Hutchinson hospital by ambulance.

At 6:18 p.m., Sunday, a deputy responded to a report of a vandalized vehicle at Piepenburg Park, north of Hutchinson.

At 6:38 p.m., Sunday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police and Hutchinson Fire Department with a garage fire on Roberts Street SW in Hutchinson.

A grass fire was reported at 7:38 p.m., Sunday, on Koala Road, northwest of Glencoe. The Glencoe Fire Department extinguished the fire.

At 9:32 p.m., Sunday, the sheriff’s office and Glencoe Ambulance responded to a medical on Eagle Avenue, northeast of Glencoe. An individual was taken to the Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a welfare check of an individual at a residence on 16th Street East in Glencoe at 11:57 p.m., Sunday. Also responding was the Glencoe Ambulance. The individual was taken to the Glencoe hospital by an officer.

On Monday, May 13, at 1:12 a.m., the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a loud party on Baxter Avenue in Glencoe. The individuals were advised to keep the noise down.

At 5:12 a.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police and the Glencoe Ambulance with a medical on 16th Street East in Glencoe. It was determined the individual had died. The local funeral home and the death investigator were called to the scene.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of property damage in the area of Grove Avenue and Powers Street in Stewart on Monday morning.

At 8:42 a.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office and the Brownton Fire Department responded to a grain truck on fire on 110th Street, northeast of Brownton. There were no injuries.

The sheriff’s office responded to a report of property damage to a storage unit on 203rd Street, north of Hutchinson, on Monday morning. The deputy cleared with a report.

The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police with a medical at the McLeod County Jail in Glencoe at 6:56 p.m., Monday. The individual was taken to the Glencoe hospital by an officer.

At 11:40 p.m., Monday, the sheriff’s office assisted the Hutchinson Police with a welfare check on an individual on College Avenue NE in Hutchinson. The individual was taken to the Hutchinson hospital by a Hutchinson officer.
