TUESDAY, MARCH 21

11:31 a.m. — A theft was reported on 206th Circle, north of Hutchinson.

4:12 p.m. — Property damage was reported on 120th Street, northwest of Brownton.

6:59 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Plato Fire Department and Allina Ambulance responded to a grass fire on Cable Avenue, south of Plato. The fire was under control.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22

3:30 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Stewart First Responders and Buffalo Lake Ambulance responded to a medical on Bowman Street in Stewart. A person was taken by ambulance to the Glencoe hospital.

7:25 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with a one-vehicle accident on Sixth Avenue N in Brownton.

10 a.m. — A deputy took a report of harassment from a phone caller.

11:22 a.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a requested welfare check on Bowman Street in Stewart. Everything was fine.

11:45 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a driving complaint on Highway 15, south of Hutchinson. A deputy pulled over the vehicle and issued a citation.

7:40 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, assisted by the Brownton Police Department, responded to a domestic on Bowman Street in Stewart. The situation was mediated.

10:08 p.m. — The sheriff’s office, Glencoe Fire Department and Glencoe Police Department responded to a residential fire alarm on Ninth Street E in Glencoe. There was no fire.

THURSDAY, MARCH 23

12:31 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Lester Prairie Police Department with a commercial burglar alarm on Central Avenue in Lester Prairie.

4:08 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a commercial burglar alarm on 10th Street E in Glencoe.

5:36 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Wright County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check on Dairy Avenue, northwest of Lester Prairie.

9:30 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Minnesota State Patrol with a reported two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 212 and Hilton Avenue, southwest of Glencoe.

11:27 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe police with a medical on 11th Street E in Glencoe.

Noon — A bad check was reported by someone on Highway 7, east of Silver Lake. A deputy advised the reporting person of options.

12:16 p.m. — A deputy assisted the Lester Prairie police with a suspicious person in the area of Third Avenue S and Fir Street S in Lester Prairie.

1:28 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Silver Lake police with a juvenile on Lake Avenue in Silver Lake.

3:51 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe Police Department with a two-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 212 and Morningside Drive.

4:54 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and Winsted and Lester Prairie police officers responded to a suicidal person in the area of 215th Street and Cable Avenue, southwest of Winsted.

FRIDAY, MARCH 24

11:45 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Wright County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check on Dairy Avenue, northwest of Winsted. Everything was fine.

8:26 p.m. — A deputy assisted a motorist with a disabled vehicle on Highway 212, east of Plato. The vehicle was towed.

SATURDAY, MARCH 25

12:19 a.m. — The sheriff’s office and Stewart Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on South Street in Stewart. The fire was extinguished.

12:57 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Brownton Police Department with a residential burglar alarm on Third Street N in Brownton. Everything was fine.

5:15 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted police with a report of property damage on First Street N in Winsted.

8:36 a.m. — The sheriff’s office, Hutchinson First Responders and Allina Ambulance responded to a medical on Plum Avenue, east of Hutchinson.

12:27 p.m. — A deputy wrote a garbage dump report of a garbage dump in the area of William May Park Road and 235th Street, east of Winsted.

5:20 p.m. — The sheriff’s office conducted a welfare check on 145th Street, north of Plato. Everything was fine.

9:24 p.m. — The sheriff’s office and Brownton police responded to a property damage accident on Highway 15, northwest of Brownton. The driver of the vehicle, Cyrus Henry Loncorich, 55, of Brownton, was arrested on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to the McLeod County Jail.

11:19 p.m. — A deputy came upon a suspicious vehicle at Cedar Lake access, north of Hutchinson. The Hutchinson Police Department assisted. The driver, Justin Paul Jacobs, 22, of Clearwater, was arrested on a probable cause charge of driving while intoxicated and taken to the McLeod County Jail.

SUNDAY, MARCH 26

9:48 a.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe police with a medical on Knight Avenue N in Glencoe.

4:51 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a two-vehicle crash in the area of Highway 212 and McLeod Avenue S in Plato. Involved were a 2014 Buick Enclave, owned by Plato Woodwork, Inc., and driven by a 16-year-old from Plato, and a 2015 Dodge Ram RTR, owned and driven by Jeffrey John Schrupp, 36, of Jordan.

10:08 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Glencoe police with a welfare check on 20th Street E in Glencoe.

MONDAY, MARCH 27

7:16 a.m. — A hay bale started on fire on Highway 15. The Hutchinson Fire Department, sheriff’s office and state patrol responded.

12:20 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Silver Lake police with a medical on Lake Avenue in Silver Lake.

6:31 p.m. — A garbage dump was documented in the area of 150th Street and Dairy Avenue, northeast of Glencoe.

8:52 p.m. — The sheriff’s office responded to a harassment complaint on Powers Street in Stewart. The situation was mediated.

8:59 p.m. — A burglary was reported on Yacht Avenue, north of Stewart.

10:53 p.m. — The sheriff’s office assisted the Winsted police with a medical on South Shore Drive.
