John W. Campbell obituary, 3/7/2000


John W. Campbell, age 50 of rural Howard Lake, died on
Tuesday, March 7, 2000.
He was born in Watertown on Jan. 21, 1950, the son of James
and Magdalen Remer Campbell.
John graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1968.
He engaged in dairy farming in Victor Township for many
years. John was presently employed at Airtex in Cokato.
On June 2, 1973, John was joined in holy marriage to LuAnn
Juncewski at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Silver Lake. Their marriage was
blessed with a son, Paul, and a daughter, Jenny.
John was a life-long member of the Holy Trinity Catholic
Church, Winsted. He was a good man.
He is survived by his wife LuAnn of Howard Lake; a son,
Paul Campbell of Kingston; a daughter; Jenny Campbell at home; parents,
James and Magdalen Campbell Sr. of Mayer; brothers, Tom (Joyce) Campbell
of White, S.D.; Jim (Diane) Campbell of Winsted, and Kevin (Lois) Campbell
of Mayer; sisters, Kay (Bruce) Fasching of Watertown, Rita (Bill) Quast
of Mayer, Kathy (Jim) Hertel of Winsted, and Sheri (Pete) Czech of Delano.

John is further survived by father-in-law and mother in-law,
Ray and Josephine Juncewski of Howard Lake; brother-in-law, Roger (Donna)
Juncewski of Howard Lake; sister-in-law, Kathy (Phil) Reimer of Howard Lake;
and many other relatives and friends.
A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday,
March 11, 10:30 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted. The Revs.
Paul L. Wolf and Ambrose J. Mahon were the concelebrants. Lavon Kielkucki
provided special music for the Mass. Interment followed at Holy Trinity
Cemetery.
Friends called at the Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, on
Friday, March 10 from 5 to 9 p.m., with a parish prayer service at 8:15
p.m.
Will Quast, Jacob Hertel, Scott Fasching, Nicholas Czech,
Craig Campbell, Jason Campbell, and Tom Campbell served as casket bearers.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
