Ronald Clinton Koch obituary, 3/9/2000


Ronald Clinton Koch, age 45 of rural Waverly, died Thursday,
March 9, 2000.
He was born in Glencoe, June 24, 1954, the son of Clinton
and Sidora Fiecke Koch.
Ronald graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1973.
On Sept. 26, 1980, Ronald and Janice Lee were joined in
holy marriage at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted. Their marriage was
blessed with two sons; Kyle and Todd.
Ronald was a life member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church,
Winsted. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus Council #8253, and
to the Holy Family Council #204.
Ronald engaged in dairy farming on his family’s homestead
in Victor Township.
He is survived by his wife Janice; sons, Kyle and Todd
at home; mother, Sidora Koch of Winsted; brothers, John (Kathe) Koch and
Jerry Koch, all of Winsted; sisters, Carol (Mark) Wendolek of Cokato, Betty
(Mark) Johnson of Howard Lake, and Diane Koch of Willmar; father-in-law
and mother-in-law, Ken and Loretta Lee of Winsted; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law,
Marlys Becker of Beaumont, Texas; Randy (Lynn) Lee of Chaska, and Debra
(Loren) Pelzer of Albany; several nieces, nephews; a great niece; aunts;
uncles; other relatives and many friends.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Koch
in 1983; and also by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday,
March 11 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Winsted. The Rev. Paul L. Wolf
was the celebrant. Special music was by Lavon Kielkucki. Interment followed
at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends called at the church on Friday, March 10 from 4
to 9 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Dave LaMott, Mike Freutel, Danny Heimerl, Craig Williams,
Mike Fiecke, and Jim Koch served as casket bearers.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
