Funeral services for Daryl Dean Zellmann, age 51 of Lester
Prairie, were Friday, Oct. 13, 2000, at Holy Family Church, Silver Lake.
Dean died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at Waconia Ridgeview Hospital.
Daryl was born Oct. 15, 1948, in Glencoe, the son of Byron
and Alice (Tonn) Zellmann. He attended elementary and high school in Lester
Prairie.
After graduation in 1967, Daryl was employed at Advance
Machines, Plymouth.
On May 15, 1971, Daryl was united in marriage to Diane
Pavlish at Holy Family Church, Silver Lake. Together, they made their home
west of Lester Prairie. They have one son, Travis.
Daryl enjoyed deer hunting and fishing at his lake property
at Richmond, Minn. Summer was an important time for him, as he enjoyed gardening
and working around the home.
Daryl is survived by his wife Diane; son, Travis; mother-in-law,
Julie Pavlish; brothers-in-law, Larry and Duane Pavlish; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Sharon and Rodney Kuntz, Sandra and Don Anderson, Kathy and Bruce Young,
Pam Schremp and Doug Munch, Mary and Bruce Fillbrandt, and Judy and Ron
Unglaub; and many nieces and nephews.
Daryl was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother,
Kendall.
The Revs. Gerald Dvorak and Robert Mraz officiated at the
10:30 a.m. funeral service. Congrega-tional hymns were “How Great Thou
Art,” “Amazing Grace,” and “On Eagle’s Wings.”
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Silver Lake.
Casket bearers were Darin Pavlish, Bryan Pavlish, Amber
Young, Gary Arens, Jim Woodall, and Dale Ruschmeier.
Arrangements were by Maresh Funeral Home, Silver Lake.
