Gary H. Dehnbostel
Gary H. Dehnbostel, age 47, of Prior Lake, died Saturday,
June 16, 2001 at St. Francis Hospital, Shakopee.
Gary was born May 28, 1954 in Cokato, the son of Walter
and Delores (Hermerding) Dehnbostel.
He was united in marriage to Laura (Roelke) Dehnbostel
May 28, 1983, in Sun Prairie, Wisc.
Gary was employed as a senior customer engineer in the
computer field, and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the
Pontiac Classic Car Club.
He enjoyed refurbishing GTOs, and riding and rebuilding
classic Harley Davidson motorcycles.
He enjoyed WWII history, as well, and was a US Air Force
Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War.
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Walter D. Dehnbostel.
Gary is survived by his wife, Laura of Prior Lake; children,
Candice and Sandra Dehnbostel, both of Prior Lake; his mother, Delores Dehnbostel
of Eden Prairie; brother, Jim Dehnbostel of Plymouth; sister, Carol Chapman
of Brooklyn Center; father and mother-in-law, Gerald and Margaret Roelke
of New Berlin, Wis.; brothers-in-law, Jeff Roelke of New Hope, and Phil
Roelke of Calif.; and a niece and nephews.
A funeral service was conducted Wednesday, June 20, 11
a.m., at Fish Lake Immanuel Lutheran Church, Prior Lake, with the Rev.
Dan Siedenburg officiating. The Prior Lake Veterans Honor Guard provided
military honors.
Visitation was June 19, 4 to 8 p.m., at Ballard-Sunder
Funeral Home, Prior Lake. Interment was at Fish Lake Lutheran Cemetery,
Prior Lake.
Pallbearers were Jim Dehnbostel, Jeff Roelke, Phil Roelke,
Gerald Gruenhagen, Chris Chapman, and Ben Bergquist.
Funeral arrangements were made by Ballard-Sunder Funeral
Home, Prior Lake.
