Chester Wayne Oltmann
Chester Wayne Oltmann, age 64, of Howard Lake, died Friday
morning, Jan. 31, 2003, at the Delano Healthcare Center.
He was born Aug. 20, 1938, in Helen Township, McLeod County,
the son of Elmer and Amanda Dose Oltmann.
Chester honorably served his country in the United States
Air Force.
Chester Oltmann and Lois Stoeckmann were joined in holy
marriage Aug. 24, 1963, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle.
Chester engaged in trucking for many years.
He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents,
a brother, a sister, and a nephew.
Chester is survived by by his loving wife Lois L. Oltmann;
children Cathline (Steven) Mortensen, Monica (Michael) Berg, Lynn (David)
Burbank, and Paula Oltmann and fiance Paul Meyer; grandchildren Jeffery,
Sarah, Morgan, Micah, and Colton; and many other relatives and friends.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
The Chilson Funeral Chapel in Winsted served the family.
