Dale Clinton Oliver, age 81 of Cokato, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Cokato Manor.
He was born March 2, 1923 in Middleville Township, to Acel and Addie (Stenberg) Oliver.
Dale married Lorraine Tollifson on Dec. 1, 1943, and they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. To this union, one son was born.
A farmer all his life, Dale was also employed at Van Dale Inc. for 20 years, and at the lumber yard in Cokato for a number of years.
Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a good handyman.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, of Howard Lake; son Dale Lee and his wife, Sharon, of Cokato; sisters-in-law Kay (Willard) Schendel, Ginger Kranitz, Doris Tollifson, and Shirley Tollifson; and brother-in-law Eugene Lemke.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Vern.
A memorial service took place Saturday, Oct. 23, at Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato, with visitation one hour prior to the service. The service was conducted by the Rev. Dave Sorenson, and music was provided by Karen Anderson. Interment was at Sylvan Cemetery.
The Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato handled the arrangements.
