Adeline Ann Dalbec obituary, 4/25/05


Adeline Ann Dalbec, age 73 of Buffalo, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
She was born April 29, 1931 in Buffalo Township, Wright County, the daughter of Fred and Ellen LaPlant Otten.
Adeline and Ambrose Eugene Dalbec were joined in holy marriage Aug. 20, 1952 at the Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.
Adeline was formerly employed at Kepplingers, and later at Cargill, Inc.
She was a faithful, lifelong member of the Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. She also belonged to VFW Post 1901 Auxiliary.
Adeline is survived by her husband, Ambrose E. Dalbec; brothers Fritz Otten of Plymouth, Richard Otten, Bernard (Jeanette) Otten, and James (Janice) Otten, all of Buffalo; sisters Marion Muckenhirn and Rose Muckenhirn, both of Delano; sisters-in-law Betty Otten of California, Rita Otten of Rockford, Elaine (Wally) Farniok of Delano, and Annella (John) Gjertsen of Big Lake; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ellen Otten; brothers Leonard, Leo, Ed, Bert, Joe, and Robert Otten; and sister Emily Gilles.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Francis in Buffalo. Father Tom Rayar was the celebrant. Interment followed at the St. Francis Cemetery.
Friends called Thursday, April 28 from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. A rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m., and a VFW Ritual took place at 8 p.m.
Casket bearers wewre Troy Farniok, Mike Horsch, John Gjertsen, Tom Muckenhirn, Denny Muckenhirn, and Gary Muckenhirn.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.
