Clifford Orrin Osbeck obituary, 4/19/06


Clifford Orrin Osbeck, age 76 of Cokato, died Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Cokato Manor.
He was born June 9, 1929 in Cokato, to Charles and Ellen (Sundquist) Osbeck. Clifford grew up in Cokato.
He went to Minneapolis and worked as a house painter for Rembrandt Enterprise, and lived in Richfield, Edina, and Northeast Minneapolis, before moving back to Cokato nine years ago.
Clifford enjoyed framing pictures and doing woodwork. He was interested in Scouting and the Cokato Museum. He also enjoyed the company of his cat, Edy.
Clifford is survived by his sister, Maryon McCalla of Dassel; brothers, Roger of Golden Valley, and Donald of Northeast Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Esther, Ann Hudson, Edith Goclon, and Lucille Melstrom; and brothers, Bill, Melvin, and Russel Osbeck.
Funeral services were Sunday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato with the Rev. Steve Thorson officiating. Music was by Kathy Murphy and Toni Thorson. Interment followed in Cokato City Cemetery.
Casket bearers were David Field, Joel Klucas, Charles McCalla, Roger McCalla, Matthew Klucas, and Gary Mortenson.
Arrangements were by Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato.
