Timothy R. Vrchota
Timothy R. Vrchota, age 44, of Eau Claire, Wis., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire after a one-month courageous battle with cancer.
Tim was born Feb. 16, 1962 in Minneapolis, to Edward and Verona Vrchota. He grew up in Richfield, and graduated from Richfield High School.
He continued his education at Bemidji State University and earned a degree in business. Tim was employed by the Bank of Maple Plain, First National Bank of Brewster and Worthington, MinnWest Bank of Waseca, M and I in Eau Claire, and settled in with Associated Bank of Eau Claire, Wis. He was Wisconsin’s number one SBA lender.
Tim exchanged wedding vows with Lori Roth June 9, 1990 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Delano. The couple welcomed two boys into their hearts and home, Nikolas, who is nine years old, and Nathan who is five years old.
Tim enjoyed his two boys, his home, horses, trail rides in South Dakota, hunting, reading, cooking, and doing small home improvements. He liked music, visiting, and sports, and was a volunteer coach for soccer and wrestling at Eau Claire.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Lori; his two beautiful boys, Nikolas and Nathan; his parents, Edward and Verona Vrchota of Veblen, S.D., his brothers, Chuck (Cindy), Jim (Tami), Tom (Jessie), and Steve (Kelly); his sisters, Elizabeth, Connie Dahnert, and Karen (Ky Eng); mother-in-law Florence Roth; brothers-in-law Paul Roth (Diane), Neal Roth (Geri), and David Roth; sister-in-law Anita Branson (John); 26 special nieces and nephews; and nine great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial took place in Veblen, S.D. Saturday, Dec. 2, following visitation at the Fuller Specking Funeral Home in Eau Claire, Wis. Thursday, Nov. 30.
Pallbearers were Troy Dahnert, Trevor Roth, Jason Nichols, Tim Roth, Jim Vrchota, Jr., Todd Roth, Chris Vrchota, and Taylor Ferro.
Honorary pallbearers were Zach Vrchota, Ben Vrchota, Mike Roth, Matt Vrchota, Austin Ferro, and Will Vrchota.
