Clarence W. Zellmann, age 80, of Watertown, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
He was born Feb. 5, 1926 in Young America, the son of John C. and Martha D. (Graunke) Zellmann. Clarence was baptized Feb. 28, 1926 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Young America by the Rev. M. F. Abraham, and confirmed Feb. 15, 1942 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Watertown by the Rev. Karl Rudolph.
Clarence enjoyed farming, gardening, fishing, and just visiting with people.
He moved to Watertown in 1987.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Zellmann; and brother-in-law Raymond Felt.
He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law Lorraine Felt of Watertown, and Florence and Merlyn Boettcher of Mayer; nieces and nephews, Alan Felt, Sue and Joe Wessbecker, Linda Boettcher, Bruce and Jill Boettcher, Lori and Scott Murphy, and Jenny and Jon Maetzold; great nieces and nephews, Joe and John Wessbecker, Mindy, Derek and Kelyn Boettcher, Anne and Elizabeth Murphy, and Austin, Abby and Chloe Maetzold; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer with the Rev. Harald Schoubye officiating. Interment was in Watertown Public Cemetery.
Clarence’s nieces and nephews were the casket bearers.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Waconia, Minnesota
