Kevin A. Anderson Obituary – 1/4/09


Kevin Anthony Anderson, age 43, of New Germany, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at his home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1965, in Little Falls to Kenneth and Lucille (Madsen) Anderson.

Kevin attended and graduated from Little Falls Community High School in 1983. He attended college in Anchorage, AK, and received a degree in nursing.

Kevin was united in marriage to Randi Olson Oct. 28, 1983, in Little Falls; the couple later divorced.

He currently worked as a pediatric nurse for Health Partners, and enjoyed working with children in the nursing field, frequently asked for by families with sick children.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially with his “happy go lucky” and “life of the party attitude.” He enjoyed relaxing at his camper at Cozy Corners Campground in Richmond. During his time in Alaska, he enjoyed playing snowshoe baseball, bowling, and darts.

Kevin is survived by his father, Kenneth Anderson of Little Falls; daughter Kayci Marie Anderson of Pine River; son Eric Alan Anderson of St. Paul; grandson Camden Bryant Anderson of Pine River; brothers David Anderson and wife Jill of Baxter, Steven Anderson of San Francisco, CA, and Richard Anderson of Elk River; sister Judi Anderson of Elk River; nieces and nephews Michael Anderson, Carli Anderson and Caleb Anderson of Baxter, and Kody Anderson of Elk River; extraordinary friend Lyle Latzig of New Germany; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucille Marie (Madsen) Anderson Dec. 29, 2008; and son Kyle Ryan Cruz-Anderson April 3, 1991.

Funeral services took place Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls (Southeast Chapel). Friends called from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
