Mary B. Rathmanner Obituary – 9/4/2012


Mary Beth Rathmanner, age 53, of St. Joseph and formerly of Winsted passed away Sept. 4, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

She was born Sept. 2, 1959 the daughter of Alex and Verla (McNamara) Rathmanner.

She graduated from Buffalo High School special education program.

Mary Beth lived in St. Joseph, MN for the last 11 years with Bob & Kay Merdan, her caregivers and loving extended family.

She participated in the Special Olympics and one year she won the gold medal in bowling. Mary Beth loved working at The House of Pizza in Sartell.

She loved everyone and always had a ready smile and a big hug for them.

Survived by brothers Terry (Sherry) Rathmanner of Burnsville, MN and Chuck (Jane) Rathmanner of Sebring, FLA: a nephew: Christopher (Stephanie) Rathmanner and their two sons: Colin and Chase; a niece: Natalie (John) Levasseur and their children Mya and Ethan; a niece Liza (Joe) Halstead and their daughters: Julia and Liana; several aunts and uncles along with 60 first cousins.

She was preceded in death by parents Alex and Verla Rathmanner of Winsted.

Our angel on earth is now with family in heaven. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25.

Funeral services for Mary Beth Rathmanner will be Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Chilson Funeral Home, 200 Fairlawn Ave. W, Winsted.

Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Winsted.

A visitation will be Monday, Sept. 10 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
