Dorothy B. Perdue Obituary – 9/30/2013


Dorothy Beverly Perdue, age 88, of Maple Lake, formerly of Waverly, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Centennial Villa Assisted Living in Annandale.

She was born March 20, 1925, in Winona, to Roy and Marie (Troppman) Wildgrube.

Dorothy graduated from Winona State Teachers College in 1946, and taught school in Rochester, and St Louis Park.

Dorothy married Robert Perdue July 21, 1956.

She was a member of Union Presbyterian Church.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Robert, of Maple Lake; children, Christina Ford of Plymouth, and James Perdue of Omaha, NE; granddaughter Samantha Perdue of Kearney, NE; and a brother, Richard (Garaine) Wildgrube of Preston.

A memorial service took place Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the chapel.

The Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, served the family.
