Donna Mae Brown-Rojina Obituary – 9/14/2016


Donna Mae Brown-Rojina, age 58, of Winsted, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, with Father Paul Schumacher officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday, Sept. 21 at noon in Jenkins, MN.

There will be visitation Monday, Sept. 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.; and continuing Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Donna was born April 28, 1958.

She was joined in holy marriage with Thomas Rojina May 5, 1984, at St. Hubert’s Church in Chanhassen. God blessed their marriage with three children: Crystal, Paul, and Laura.

Donna was employed at Emerson Process Management in Chanhassen.

She enjoyed her flower gardens, arts and crafts, sewing, watching birds at the feeders, old movies, “The Monkees,” and Garth Brooks. Donna also was fond of spending time with her grandkids, shopping, and going to the casino with her husband. She loved attending fairs and spending time with her dogs.

Donna is survived by her husband, Thomas Brown-Rojina; a daughter, Crystal (Will) Pace of Sartell; son, Paul Rojina of Winsted, and daughter, Laura Rojina of Dallas, TX and fiancé Josh Neuberger; grandchildren Aaden and Cole Pace, and Anika Rojina; her mother, Dorothy Brown of Pequot Lakes; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Brown; father Wayne Brown; step father Dale Brown; and by many loved pets.
