Norma Rose Chadwick, age 85, forever young, of Watertown, left this world Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, as she lived in it; conscious of God, fearless of death, and at peace, surrounded by her family and friends.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown.
There will be a gathering of family and friends Tuesday, Nov. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, continuing Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sharing and Caring Hands: c/o Mary Jo Copeland, 525 N. 7th St., Minneapolis, MN 55405.
Arrangements are with the Iten’s Watertown Chapel.
Norma was born Sept. 8, 1932, in Richardton, ND, to Ferdinand and Emelia (Renner) Forster.
While a native of North Dakota, Norma was devoted to Minnesota and her family as a resourceful mother and domestic engineer.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen; four sons: Lewis (Laura), William (Ann), Joseph (Nick), and Edward (Lisa); seven grandchildren: Ryan, Victoria (Tony), Ashley, Cory, Kyle, Lily and Charlie; great-grandson Connor; brother Erhardt; sister Margaret; and many nieces and nephews.
