Margaret ‘Marge’ Moy, 74

Margaret Mary “Marge” Moy, age 74, of Waverly, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, surrounded by family.

She was born May 24, 1943, in Watertown, the daughter of Louis and Catherine (Horsch) Pollock.

Marge grew up in Woodland Township and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Waverly in 1961.

She was joined in holy marriage with Alan F. Moy Oct. 5, 1963, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. God blessed their marriage with three daughters, and a lifetime of adventure.

Marge was the president of Sentry Fire Protection for over 43 years.

She enjoyed driving trips with Al out west and to Texas, spending time at the cabin in Northern Minnesota, and spending time with family and friends.

Marge was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Alan F. Moy; daughters Catherine (Jason) Barthman, Deborah Moy, and Vickey Moy; three grandchildren: Ruby Johnson, Jack Johnson and Dylan Barthman; siblings Bill (Carol) Pollock, Carolyn (Dennis) Nieman, Ed (Linda) Pollock, and Helen (Rick) Rummelhart; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Jim Moy and Linda (Bill) Buschel; and other relatives and friends.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lois; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ray and “Bub” Moy; and a sister-in-law, Dolly Moy.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial took place Thursday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, with Father Kenneth O’Hotto as the celebrant.

There was visitation Wednesday, Dec. 27 at the church from 5 to 8 p.m.; and continuing Thursday at 9:30 a.m., prior to the Mass.

Honorary urn bearers were Marge’s grandchildren: Ruby Johnson, Jack Johnson and Dylan Barthman.,
