Aaron “Tuff” David Reich, age 36, of Buffalo, died suddenly Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017.
He was born Sept. 16, 1981, in Monticello, to Michael and Catherine (Ulrich) Reich.
Aaron Reich and Kelly Barth were united in marriage May 10, 2013, in Waverly.
Aaron was a devout believer in God and his family. He held traditions very close to his heart, and surrounded himself with others in his life who did also.
A very hard-working man, Aaron was kind and generous, giving his time and energy to anyone in need, even to the point of losing his life helping.
He loved playing cards, especially 500; playing with his sons, spending time with his family and friends, driving his Peterbilt, Bobcat, and other equipment; fishing, hunting with the other members of Never Skunked Lodge, and most importantly, being married to the love of his life, Kelly.
Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Reich; grandfather William Reich; and grandparents John and Martha Ulrich.
He leaves behind his wife, Kelly Reich; sons, Micah, Noah, and Isaiah; and Baby Reich, due July 1, 2018; father, Mike Reich of Buffalo; brothers, Peter of Big Lake, John (fiancée, Suzy) of Ham Lake, Adam (Kirstin) of Rockford, and Paul (Maria) of Hanover; niece and nephews, Zachary, Lily, Alexander, Asher, and Wyatt Reich; grandmother, Audrey Reich of St. Michael; parents-in-law, Brian and Patti Barth; brother-in-law, Jacob Barth of Howard Lake; nephews, Henri and Will Barth; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services took place Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Greenfield, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. There was also a wake Monday, Dec. 18, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Interment was at Salem Cemetery in Greenfield.
