Clara M. Wiemiller, 95

Clara Marie Wiemiller, age 95, of Winsted, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, at St. Mary’s Care Center in Winsted.

She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Winsted, the daughter of Henry J. and Mary (Laxen) Fleischacker.

Clara was joined in holy marriage with Joseph Wiemiller June 14, 1947, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with three children: Mary Jo, Bill, and Sue.

Clara was formerly employed as a cashier at the Winsted bank.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.

Clara was also a huge Minnesota Twins fan!

She is survived by her loving children: Mary Jo (Duane) Kopesky, and Bill (Luanne) Wiemiller, all of Winsted, and Sue (Scot) Thomson of Cokato; seven grandchildren: Jody Barker (Chris), Allison Zitzloff (Cory), Jill Bach (Nathan), Jeff Wiemiller (Joe), Lindsay Cates, Logan Cates (Jed), and Abby Thomson; seven great-grandchildren: Max, Lauren, Alex, Zach, Mason, Ella and Jacob; siblings Ramona (Cal) Sauter, Stan (Bette) Fleischacker, and Pat Peterson; a sister-in-law, Elaine Fleischacker; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; parents; brothers Henry “Hank,” Antony, Bernard, and Kenneth Fleischacker; and by a sister, Luella Zimmerman.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted, with Father Paul Schumacher as the celebrant. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

There was visitation at the church, two hours prior to the Mass.

Clara’s seven grandchildren were her casket bearers.
