Jeff married Carol Roufs Sept. 20, 1980, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. God blessed their marriage with two children.

Jeff had many loves in his life. His family was always his priority; even as his days were numbered, he spent his time making sure they were taken care of.

Trucking ran in his blood; from his role early on in the family business, to running his own trucking company, and finally into trucking sales; he took pride in helping his customers.

He also loved the outdoors; hunting with his family, and wildlife conservation turning his homestead into a sanctuary for all animals and birds.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carol; faithful dogs Jazamine, Chloe and Dixie; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Lori Quast of Howard Lake; daughter and son-in-law Rachael and Justin Halvorson of Vadnais Heights; grandchildren Clara Quast and Amelia Halvorson; parents Paul and Bonnie Quast of Winsted; siblings Shelly (Terry) Jorgensen of Buffalo, Mike Quast of Winsted, Melody (John) Hintzen of Chaska, Tammy (Larry) Vealetzek of Winsted, Staci Revering and Jodi Gilyard; and 13 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by devoted dogs Pebbles, Kally and Tasha; grandparents Ralph and Doris Ketcher; mother-in-law and father-in-law Donald and Afra Roufs; brother-in-law Darryl Roufs; Uncle Ralph (Butch) Ketcher; and nephews Joshua Quast and Braeden Gilyard.
