George Milton Decker, 64 years young, lost his battle with cancer Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019.
There will be a celebration of George’s life Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m. at the Howard Lake American Legion.
Cremation was through the Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake.
George was born Nov. 8, 1954, in St. Louis, MO.
He served his country in the United States Army as an aircraft mechanic and was honorably discharged Jan. 24, 1977, from Fort Leonard Wood, MO.
George was recently employed at Holt Motors Cokato as the service manager for heavy trucks.
In his spare time, he enjoyed working on street rods and getting his wind therapy from riding his Harley CVO.
George was preceded in death by both of his parents; his in-law parents; a great niece; and several friends and comrades.
He leaves behind his wife, Carolyn; son and daughter-in-law, Jayson and Becky Decker; a granddaughter, Darlene Hanson; and brothers and sisters-in-law Michael and Mary Krause, Connie Krause, Larry Krause and Jim Franzen, Lyle and Tina Krause, Chuck and Kris Johnson, Wally and Tammy Westrum and George and Dayna Krause; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
George is, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
