Sharon Stewart, 78

Sharon Gayle Stewart passed away peacefully in her home May 14, 2022, with her family by her side at 78.

She was born February 20, 1944, in Torrance, California, to Frank and Ruby “Carol” Winn.

She attended Aviation High School in Redondo Beach, California.

She held many jobs over the years, which included airplane manufacturing at McDonnell Douglas, owning/running her housekeeping business, and raising guide dogs for the blind.

Sharon loved her family, Jesus, flowers, playing games, beautiful clothes and jewelry, bright colors, and animals of any kind, but especially dogs. She absolutely loved dogs.

Her cherished dog, Buddy, held a special place in her heart.

Sharon is survived by her son Brian (Rebekkah) and her three grandchildren: Caleb, Zachariah, and Kalie Stewart.

She is also survived by her brother, Marc Winn of Encinitas, California, and her nieces, Jennifer and Erin Winn, and of course, Buddy.

She will be dearly missed by all her friends at the Delano Legacy, The Delano Sr. Center, and her amazing friends – ‘the 4 B’s’, Becky, Bea, Betsy, and Beth.

Services took place at Village Free Church Saturday, May 28, with Pastor Jeff officiating.
